Finally got my Sharebuilder bonuses for the first two accounts that I opened on August 24th, each worth $50. The whole transaction took about 6 weeks.
I had used these promo codes : HH50LOGIN and ENTERTAIN50
For more $50 promotion codes read this post and this post.
It should be noted here that opening two accounts at once (within 5 minutes of each other) did not cause any problems with respect to the bonus. However, be discreet on how you interpret this; don’t go overboard.
Currently I hold three Sharebuilder accounts and I am contemplating having a few more.

Another chance for earning free money with this credit card: Blue from American Express.
There is no balance transfer fee.
Here is what it says in the fine print:
“There is no balance transfer transaction fee associated with this offer. However, future balance transfers may incur a fee as disclosed at the time of the applicable offer or transaction”Other highlights are no annual fees and the 0% balance transfer is valid for 15 months (!) instead of the usual 12 months.
The APR is declared to be between 12.24% and 19.24%, depending on your credit history.

These are some more $50 promo codes for Sharebuilder. They seem like valid codes for now; I tried and Sharebuilder accepted them through the initial few steps on opening an account. However I stopped after a few steps… didn’t have the heart to open any new accounts…..already have 3 accounts opened with 3 other codes.
SMEAUG50
CAMPUS50
FOLLETT50
The earlier codes I used (successfully) are listed here.
Check out Fatwallet Forums for more Sharebuilder promo codes.

Ok, so I am really stretching it now. This is my third Sharebuilder account using a promo code within a span of 15 days. Got this new promo code: SHAREBUILD50 from Blueprint for Financial Prosperity and immediately opened a new account.
I am wary of the fine print which says “Valid only for first time account holders with ShareBuilder.” However, multiple accounts have worked earlier, so hopefully Sharebuilder will accept this promo code too.
Btw, this promo code does not require enrollement in an Automatic Investment Plan (AIP) like the earlier ones. Even if you do enroll in the AIP, you don’t require a $50 minimum investment.
Keep checking Blueprint for Financial Prosperity for a listing of all old and new Sharebuilder promo codes and other interesting stuff.
Update- This is an excerpt of the email from Sharebuilder long after the account was opened:
This makes it sound like the AIP is necessary, but if you read the terms and conditions here, there is no mention of AIP anywhere. I think the same is true for the other codes I have used in the past.

Got this from Sharebuilder today:
and this:
So both codes worked well…sweet
Obviously, Sharebuilder doesn’t seem to mind me having two accounts. While it is busy ignoring multiple accounts with different promo codes, I am going to stretch it and open one more account with a good promo code…if I find one.
On the downside, as I write this, all my trades have lost some ground (down 70 cents in all).

Opened two Sharebuilder accounts, each with a $50 bonus code. Here are the codes:
HH50LOGIN
ENTERTAIN50
Both codes were working when I used them on 24th August 2006.
Each code can be used only once.
Update: Forgot to mention this earlier. The bonus requires activation of the Automatic Investment Plan. You can activate the plan and select the “One-time” option.
Bought the following ETFs with the bonuses:
1. S&P 500 (Spiders), SPY
2. Vanguard Large-Cap, VV
