Very creative! I found this cute :)! Love it, especially “stingy”!

4 Patrick 11.05.07 at 10:23 am

Ahhhh… All of the sudden I had flashbacks to Bernouli’s principle and the venturi effect. I was hoping to get through the rest of my life without thinking about those things!

Very creative! :)

This is what everyone needs to know. It’s explained in the most simple and basic way one can imagine. This is great! I might link this article when writing a new post on my site. I hope you don’t mind! :D

6 nku 11.05.07 at 10:55 am

What is that, a valve near Emergency? Sudden flashes of Fluid Machinery from last century. :)

Awesome illustrations! Loved it!

14 The Dividend Guy 11.05.07 at 8:19 pm

Cool post - you are going to give Robert Kiyosaki a run for his money if you write a book!

15 Invest Free Money 11.05.07 at 8:20 pm

Very funny. I saw my family, my in-laws, my parents, and my brother in there, 1, 6, 7, and 4 respectfully.

16 FinanceIsPersonal.com 11.05.07 at 9:48 pm

That’s awesome. :D

17 Dickson 11.05.07 at 11:41 pm

One couldn’t have done it better.
Great illustrations :)

18 The Financial Blogger 11.06.07 at 2:56 am

Nice,
you could have change “3. Sucked by money leaks” by “3. Sucked by spouse and children!”

Cheers,
FB.

19 TMac 11.06.07 at 9:25 am

I love this. I especially love the emergency fund waiting off in the wings!

Simply excellent!

24 golbguru 11.07.07 at 10:24 pm

Wow.. honestly, I didn’t expect many people to respond to this one. :) It’s nice to see you all liked it. Thanks for the encouragement.

Interestingly, from the comments, I was able to spot at least 2 mechanical engineering graduates among my readers! :)

25 Tamal 11.08.07 at 2:42 am

Its fanatastic. I have gone through many books and you made it so simple. Wonderful. Basically I don’t have words to express. Keep your good work.

26 Marie 11.08.07 at 7:19 pm

It’s nice too have a laugh when dealing with money. Thanks

27 Randy 11.08.07 at 9:14 pm

It’s all Bush’s fault.

28 Danijel 11.09.07 at 2:10 pm

Great illustration and theory. I’m trying to be happy :)

29 Webomatica 11.12.07 at 5:00 pm

Great illustrations, especially the paycheck to paycheck one. If anybody needed more direct experience perhaps transporting water via a pipe would work.

30 Gaming the Credit System 11.13.07 at 11:39 am

Man, I love your drawings! They are a great way to make a point!

31 Anitz 11.14.07 at 6:04 am

Heh heh — good analysis — maybe this is a dumb question, but have you read “The Tao of Warren Buffet,” by Marry Buffet and David Clark?

33 NewLifeFromHeaven 11.20.07 at 7:06 pm

Thank you for explaining all of economics in a few simple diagrams! If only people took the time to understand how cash flow works…

34 J.C. Carvill 11.22.07 at 4:40 am

LOL..
First time I ever read money flow illustrations with least words but yet most explanations.
Picture said 100 words :)
Even the sequence of those pictures explain that the last one should be the best one.

Even though the stingy dude with the cork on the out flow are the funniest one for me.

Great article (or great drawing) :)

40 theBillManager 05.19.08 at 5:03 pm

Well put, I think I found the one I fall into, and the one I used to fall into.

41 The Bill Manager 05.27.08 at 2:37 pm

Brilliant. I love the stingy one.

42 Ray The Money Man 10.30.08 at 3:02 pm

I love the Happy one. If only most Americans could be so lucky! I saw a graph of how much different countries save per citizen. We suck! LOL

Great post!

43 Chris 05.25.09 at 6:39 am

Hi, first of all , fantastic drawings… not sure why I haven’t found them earlier. Really well done.

Quick question, as I couldn’t find your email address, can I post the polish version of above on my website? Obviously linking back to originals.

I’d appreciate reply to my email address… Thanks.
