Debt Consolidation Care - Check this resource out. I have been speaking to James (one of the key members behind the website) for the last couple of weeks and have finally decided to write about them. No, they are not a “company” and no, this is not a paid post (this blog’s policy is against paid reviews). Debt Consolidation Care is a growing community of people who share knowledge about debt consolidation and related issues. A lot of issues are being discussed in the community’s forums. Some of the key forum subjects (with number of posts in brackets) are:
- Debt Consolidation and Settlement (80643 Posts)
- Payday Loan Help (2744 Posts)
- Dealing with Collection Agencies (42222 Posts)
It’s one thing to hear a blogger (who has never availed any payday loans) rant against payday loans and it’s another thing to hear complaints and suggestions from someone who has been through that hell. That’s where the power of forums come into play.
Do visit them if you have the time.
Here is a list of other interesting money links for today:

- How to Start a Family Without Breaking the Bank by Nickel (as a guest author) @ Get Rich Slowly. The way this post reads, Nickel must be responding to my earlier post: Think About Your Finances Before Having (More) Children. As I see it, you should either be prepared with money, or be prepared for the sacrifices (which you should do - not your kids) - in either case, you must think along these lines before you have more kids.

Nope, that wasn’t a response to your article. Just a happy coincidence.
I am a regular reader of your blog and a grad student.
Just wanted to thank you for introducing me to the payday loan forum.
I just found out that 4 out of my 5 pay day loan companies are illegal in my state.
Thanks,
Karen
Thank you for the mention
I have also prepared a comparison website of all the online payday lenders in the UK to help people decide which lender to choose. Please visit http://www.wongatree.co.uk and let me know your comments.
